Women's Conference: Focus on speakers - Gail Hodson on fracking

One of the most effective communicators, both at the Women's and at the main Conference was Gail Hodson, a councillor from West Lancashire, who is campaigning against fracking. Through her persuasiveness, Gail had many delegates already weaning armbands before Conference started.
When she got her chance to speak, she pointed out that fracking pollutes the water table and the air. In 2011, fracking caused an earthquake. She argued that this is an issue where women need to fight. It's something that affects "Mother Earth".
